Hybrid 15th Panhellenic Conference on Alzheimer's Disease & 7th Mediterranean Conference on Neurodegenerative Diseases
Speakers and attendees participate in the Conference by completing the online registration form. By submitting a registration or scientific work, participants accept the following terms.

1. Online participation and registration data

Speakers and attendees can participate in the Conference by completing the registration form available at www.alzheimer-conference.gr, under the registration section.

The data collected is stored by the Organizing Parties, which include the Panhellenic Institute of Neurodegenerative Diseases, the 1st Department of Internal Medicine, AHEPA University Hospital, School of Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Alzheimer Hellas.

This information is used to ensure the best possible conduct of the Conference and to inform participants about future social and scientific activities. The details collected are: first name, last name, status, email address and contact phone number.

2. Acceptance of terms and method of delivery

Participation in the Conference implies acceptance of the conditions of participation as described on this page.

The Conference will be presented online via the Zoom platform through live streaming.

3. Purpose of the Conference

The Conference aims to disseminate information on diagnostic methods and treatment practices for dementia and to facilitate the exchange of scientific opinions.

It is not intended for profit, and reproduction of scientific opinions for profit is strictly prohibited.

4. Scientific opinions and recommendations

The citation of speakers' opinions reflects their personal views and does not constitute recommendations to patients. As health experts, such as doctors and psychologists, attendees should understand that no doctor-patient relationship is established at this Conference.

5. Recording and publication of presentations

Speakers agree to have their presentations recorded and subsequently posted on the YouTube channel of Alzheimer Hellas. These recordings will be made freely available to the public after the conclusion of the Conference and following the necessary editing of the videos.

6. Responsibility of the Organizing Parties

The Organizing Parties hold no responsibility for the actions and privacy policies of individuals who reproduce the Conference's work online.

The Organizing Parties hold no responsibility for any copyright issues arising from the publication of all or part of presentation content or video reproductions, including any patent rights, trademarks or intellectual property declared during the Conference and covered by relevant legislation.

The responsibility for any copyright issues related to the publication of presentation content, video reproductions, patent rights, trademarks or intellectual property declared during the Conference rests with the speakers.

7. Attendee participation and submission of questions

This disclaimer extends to attendees who participate in any manner during the Conference, including submitting questions or comments, thereby consenting to the inclusion of their details in the question submission process.

8. Photography or accidental recording of attendees

Attendees also consent, through this procedure, to potentially being recorded or having their image captured in photographs for media or internet coverage of the Conference.

This also applies to attendees who may be accidentally recorded or whose image may be represented in a photograph intended to present the event of the Conference in the media or on the internet.

9. Limitation of liability

The Organizing Parties are not responsible for any violation of the terms of participation by attendees, nor for any damage or negative consequence arising from the use of services or information provided at the Conference by the speakers or anyone expressing an opinion, providing information or asking questions.

The exclusions and limitations of liability of the Organizing Parties as set forth herein are clear and proportionate.

10. Intellectual property of Conference material

All materials produced during the Conference, including graphics, images, diagrams, videos, websites and posters, are the intellectual property of the Organizing Parties and are governed by national and Community Law and International Conventions.

11. Changes to materials and procedures

Materials and procedures of the Conference may be varied without notice, for better Conference attendance and for adaptation to changes that could not be foreseen.

12. Consent statement

By selecting “I consent”, I accept the aforementioned terms.

I accept that my presentation and speech comply with all relevant legislation on the protection of copyright and that I respect the rights of the legal owners of the respective content.

By signing, I accept that my presentation and speech, which will be published on a website designated by the Organizing Parties, are made available solely for informational purposes and that I bear sole responsibility for the origin of the material used in my presentation and speech.

I accept any responsibility for the inadvertent publication of sensitive personal data that may be contained in my presentation and assume sole responsibility for obtaining explicit consent from the parties concerned for the use of this data, such as photos, videos and clinical data.

I accept that the Organizing Parties disclaim any responsibility for intentional violations of laws that may result from the use of protected content.
